Residence 3921 is two homes in one story. The client wanted to merge two distinct spaces under a single roof while keeping a sense of flow and connection united. Stone, wood, and shades of charcoal tie the design together, while the dense greenery surrounding the house makes it feel like it’s grown straight out of the landscape.
In order to maintain the lush greenery surrounding the home, we made it a priority to design with nature in mind. Large windows and openings were strategically placed to frame the views and let the outside in.
The roofline was carefully planned to minimize disruption to the natural environment, creating pockets of shade and preserving the dense foliage that gives the house its forest-like feel.
