When we began designing the interior of Pizza Mia, a local favorite in Strovolos, we started by picking out the right flavors. This is a fast-paced pizzeria, so flow was everything. We had to create a space that could keep up with the heat of a busy kitchen while still serving up charm by the slice. The layout was shaped to support efficient service, smooth kitchen operations, and quick, intuitive movement for customers. To freshen things up, we added a custom green wall that acts as a visual palate cleanser. Paired with deep blue slatted panels, it brings texture and contrast all around. Warm woods from vertical planter boxes to the handcrafted bar counter give the whole place an artisanal, oven-baked warmth. Seating is laid out in zones: grab-and-go stools at the bar, soft chairs if you're staying a little longer. It’s casual, quick, and totally in tune with the Italian street culture spirit.
Ambient lighting traces the wall panels up to the ceiling, where a minimal cascading fixture adds a final layer of warmth and detail.
