The Kirzis Building renovation was a challenging but rewarding project . As the District Office of the Ministry of Education, the renovation and new presentation aimed to provide stability and modernity, while also acting as an efficient public facility.
The primary change in the façade is the emphasis on vertical presence through a new contemporary color palette. Warm bronze and pale accents replaced the dated color scheme, while wide floor-to-ceiling glazing on the balcony floors maximizes natural light and creates a sense of openness. On a sunny day, the panels reflect the sun to create a bright blue-like color that breathes new life into the building.
More than just cosmetic, the aim of the renovation was to restructure the building for greater efficiency and improved energy performance.
