An old building, declared a monument, located in the heart of Limassol, has been forgotten by time and easily overlooked. This rough diamond now opens its doors to the people of the town with a new purpose, keeping its old character intact. The former storage space has been transformed into the bar named “Industry,” which glorifies the history of the building.

Upon our arrival on the site, we immediately recognized the building's significant history and meaning. We aimed to respect its past while breathing new life into it. The majority of the architectural and decorative elements used were sourced directly from the site, repurposing them to maintain sustainability and preserve its historical character. Traditional materials like stone and wooden ceilings contrast with the modern element of the steel structural frame, creating an architectural tango of traditional and modern styles.

The result is an interior that reflects what the building used to be, acting as a vessel for the new generation with an old soul. The building was meticulously restored to honor its past while providing a vibrant, new space.
