Cherries & Art is a modern student residence complex with clean geometry and a calm architectural presence. Despite its name, the building does not follow temporary trends but adopts a timeless look that avoids visual overload. Its location in the historic center of Limassol was a key reference point for its design, so that it would blend smoothly into the urban environment and meet the needs of modern student life.The building's form consists of distinct volumes, while maintaining a simple and clear composition. The vertical sections form recessed balconies and create depth and shade on the façade, while allowing natural light to reach the apartments and providing space for outdoor use.
In terms of materials, the exterior remains soft and neutral, with light-colored plaster as the dominant element. The horizontal wood cladding on the balconies adds warmth and texture without creating stark contrasts. Some surfaces remain exposed and unfinished, leaving room for future artistic interventions.
Inside, one- and two-bedroom apartments are arranged in combination with common areas, seeking a balance between privacy and daily social interaction.
